Behind the Lens: Crafting After Baywatch
After Baywatch is a docuseries that premiered on Hulu in 2024. I initially joined the project as a water cinematographer but quickly transitioned into the role of Director of Photography, conducting over 20 interviews with nearly every Baywatch cast member.
As the production evolved, I took on additional roles as producer and editor, becoming part of a three-person team that shaped the four-part series. With a multi-million dollar budget, the series reached millions of viewers and was ultimately sold to ABC News Studios and Hulu.
The videos featured here are exclusive, never-before-seen moments from the cutting room floor. With over five years of footage, there was plenty that didn’t make the final cut—these are some of my favorites.

In this powerful video from After Baywatch, we dive into the real story behind Pamela Anderson and Kelly Slater's relationship. Through candid interviews and personal insights, we explore their connection and the challenges Pamela faced, especially following the release of the infamous sex tape. This video offers an intimate look at Pamela's struggle during one of the most turbulent times of her career and how it shaped her journey.
Billy Warlock: From Baywatch to the Slopes
One of the most memorable interviews was with Baywatch star Billy Warlock. We traveled to Telluride to visit him, where he has been working as a ski instructor since stepping away from acting. His story, along with many others, brought a unique perspective to the series.

The Director Mathew Felker and I became close friends with Michael "Newmie" Newman, the only real lifeguard on Baywatch, during the making of the docuseries. We shared many moments with mike in Hawaii, including capturing the Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational. Mike’s warmth and wisdom left a lasting mark. Sadly, he passed away a month after the series was released, after battling Parkinson's disease. This video honors his legacy, our bond and the bond he formed with the director.

Ingrid Walters' Battle with Cancer
One of my favorite sections of After Baywatch highlights Ingrid Walters, the only other real lifeguard featured on the show. Ingrid made history as the second Black lifeguard in LA County and became a regular on Baywatch. In recent years, she’s taken on a new challenge as a marathon runner, completing some of the most prestigious races around the world. However, in 2019, just after finishing the LA Marathon, Ingrid was diagnosed with breast cancer. This video tells her incredible story of resilience, strength, and the impact she made both on and off the screen.
